Drop Rates and Loot Stealer

Hey there. So, I was using a test archer account (FLTestArcher) to figure out if the Loot Stealer skill works the way it was intended or not. The best way to test it out was to kill a bunch of the most loot-heavy monster in the game: Squishers. Yes, the green guys.
In order to figure things out, I had to kill 200 Squishers for two different runs: one without Loot Stealer and one with Loot Stealer maxed. I could've killed more, but with how many player kill Squishers by the day, I figured the risk wasn't too worth it. But yeah, this would add up to 400 Squishers in all. Here are the results I got.
-----
200 Squishers (Base)
https://prnt.sc/qfefoj
Loot Gained:
Twigs: 30 (Approx. 15% drop rate)
Boxers: 25 (Approx. 12.5% drop rate)
Bullets: 30 (Approx. 15% drop rate)
Cherries: 16 (Approx. 8% drop rate)
200 Squishers (Loot Stealer Maxed; +35% drop rate)
http://prntscr.com/qff3p0
Loot Gained:
Twigs: 46 (+1 that I failed to grab) (Approx. 23.5% drop rate)
Boxers: 25 (Approx. 12.5% drop rate)
Bullets: 24 (Approx. 12% drop rate)
Cherries: 14 (Approx. 7% drop rate)
-----
Thing is there are two contingencies I cannot address on my own: the accuracy of the results I got and how loot stealer gets factored into drop rate. In any case, I shall ask these questions.:
1. Are my results accurate, or was I just lucky? What are the actual drop rates of these items in Squishers?
2. How does loot stealer get factored into drop rates?

Re: Drop Rates and Loot Stealer
Since it is +35% drop rate of your current drop rate, then for example if an item was 1/10, it would then be 1.35/10. so its not too much of an increase
also you didn't factor in arrows (guessing you just didn't bother to since you're an archer)
Id like to see the drop rates on the items though. would be interesting

Yep, the item drop rate works exactly like Tens mentioned. Therefore it doesn't make a huge different, but over time it should add up to a bit I would think. Of course the skills still open to refinement, so if you gather any more results let me know and if you aren't noticing enough of an increase, then I'll boost the drop chance % of the skill by a little more.

If you plan on adding more luck based things eventually, I would say the skill is fine as is.Robby wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 7:22 pmYep, the item drop rate works exactly like Tens mentioned. Re: Drop Rates and Loot Stealer
Back on the subject of drop rates, I decided to test out Petunia rates by killing 200 of them. They were most plentiful in Teplar Pond despite their dismal spawn rates (1 minute and 30 seconds? Really?). From what I got, these were the results:
-----
200 Petunias (No Loot Stealer)
Cherries: 13 (100 Petunias); 18 (200 Petunias) (Expected drop rate of about 9-13%)
Twig: 1 (100 Petunias); 4 (200 Petunias) (Expected drop rate of 1-2%)
-----
This is kinda annoying given players kinda have to battle against Petunias one way or the other. I recommend something like this.:
More Petunias in Teplar Pond dangit (a huge part of the northern section is barren)
Cherries (same drop rate as before)
Twig (2.5%
Big Squirt Gun (1.5%)
Pink Hat (1.5%)

Re: Drop Rates and Loot Stealer
I noticed at times when I killed the flower, another would instantly spawn right after. idk their spawn times but 1 minute and 30 seconds seems off

Re: Drop Rates and Loot Stealer
I think their spawn rates are random. sometimes they take a long time, sometimes they instantly spawn. maybe its based off of current mobs in the area?
