Priest set offers decent magic for nubs, only get it to quickly be able to get an actually good set.

Priest set, like Cinos set is the only set which has more magic than defense, you can use that set to get better sets which offer less magic than priest set but more defense according to many people, you should go for elemental set right after priest set, but what I went for was priest set than neon magic set with elemental staff. I think I will skip elemental set now since neon magic set is good enough you can do the same or you can go with the majority who go for priest set, then elemental set with elemental staff(this can get very expensive so beware).

Yeah your choice doesn't matter much everybody goes for different sets, one thing, if you go for fiberglass set, then keep an eye on vending machine of alion city since people sell fiberglass wands for 15-20k in there which is stonks.
