Mage damage
Idk if this is normal but I have 2 priest wands one had runes other does not. When I equip the one without runes i get 10k to 19k damage and when I equip the one with runes together with the no rune it is still same damage. But when i equip the one with runes first i get 11k to 21k and then i equip the other one its the same. Is this how it works?

Re: Mage damage
I think it's because the damage of the ability is based on the first weapon you equip, or maybe just another error of the broken formula

Re: Mage damage
No, the damage on character shows the damage for 1 weapon. If you have 2 equipped you simply just multiply that number by 2 for your total damage output (if they are the same weapon and upgrades). As far as the two weapons having different upgrades on them or different powers, I'm pretty sure the damage output on the character shows your primary weapon (equip 1). So if your secondary weapon is different, then multiplying by 2 will be slightly off, but you'll still be able to get a general idea. You could always equip 1 at a time and get the damage output for each then add them together if you want your total.

Re: Mage damage
I already confirmed this with my main.
Using dual wands just allows you to attack 2 times using the attack button.
Reason:
As i farmed in grunts and equiped 2 fiber glass wands and unequipped my 2nd fiber glass wand I also noticed that my damage did not decreased, so I also tested this on my skill damage and also noticed that my skill damage is the same.
Conclusion:
Dual wands for mages are just a type of weapon to allow you to attack twice in close range, so I recommend as a mage to buy the two handed staff then the wands for bigger skill damage unless you want to get upclose to the enemy mobs then you are recommended to equip 2 wands to deal more damage.
Edit:
Anything i said here just dont mind it i made a new post about mages and if you want or curious about the class just go read that up and if you want to add anything ill or recorrect me just comment.
